Happy May!! 2018 is flying by and I'm far from keeping up with it... this is my first favourites post of the year. Quoting 2016 me, 'I always seem to forget to write these posts, but I've been doing pretty well recently'. I take that back. Nevertheless, I have one for you now so here are some of my recent favourites!
Throughout April I have discovered all sorts of new favourites, from fashion to stationary and technology! I like to keep my favourites random so hopefully, something catches your eye!
I have absolutely loved switching up my fragrances over the month of April and the Zoella All Four You set has been the perfect way to do that. Four equally beautiful, unique scents that you can pick from daily. Snow'ella and Bake My Days are both from her Christmas ranges, but personally, I feel like Snow'ella can still be worn all year round as it is a light, soft fragrance. I think my favourite will always be the classic Blissful Mistful scent, but I do love Gelat'eau for those sunnier days.
Every blogger that has ever existed has probably heard of Coconut Lane by now (although if you've not, then you do now), but Coconut Lane is by far one of the most Instagram worthy brands around. Having just a quick look through their website usually has me adding item after item to my mental wishlist. As a marble fanatic, this notebook was no exception. It's obviously great for writing notes... because that's what a notebook is for, duh. Not going to lie though, for me its main purpose is a photo prop...

The combination of both the iPad Pro and Apple Pencil have been a lifesaver for me when revising A-Level Chemistry. Typing up chemistry notes on a laptop is really difficult because of how theoretical based it is. The majority of my notes are either diagrams or calculations, unlike Biology which is just filled with fact after fact. Using the notes app on the iPad combined with the apple pencil has meant I can use the benefits of technology whilst still being able to draw out all my endless diagrams.
My fashion favourite of the month is probably these velvet sneakers from Next. As mentioned previously, the velvet trend is one of my favourites. I find styling with different textures the best way to bring more interest into an outfit without having to splurge on super colourful items which a) I am not confident enough to wear haha and b) probably won't match the majority of my outfits. Although quite impractical for British weather, I have managed to make use out of these trainers on the few sunny days we have had recently. Speaking of sunny days, is summer actually going to arrive here in the UK?!
It took me far too long to get into the swing of things with Twitter, but I'm finally there. I prefer it so much more to Instagram where everything is edited and less 'real'? Twitter is the place to be for anyone like me who is far from perfect and likes to rant. I've also been making the most out of Twitter in terms of promoting blog posts and let me tell you, if you're not already doing this (although I'm sure you are), you are missing out on the biggest and most organic source of traffic!
